Silent "influenza virus" killer a.k.a Spanish lady mystery disease

1916 Outbreak of deadly mystery disease struck Aldershot barracks, Spain ( during World War 1 ) now known as Spanish lady - mystery disease.

1918 The year Spanish influenza was officially discovered traced back to a Spanish lady by medical fraternity then. The Spanish lady was missing in the following year 1919.

1930 Influenza virus smaller than bacteria can be seen the first time that year using first ever newly invented electron microscope.

1985 Genetic probing, mapping and sequencing on a well-preserved lung tissue (specimen) by pathologist / micro biologist on specimen from Walter Reed "specimen" storage facilities during US President - Abraham Lincoln administration. Walter Reed is a storage of World War 1 soldiers ( specimen lung tissue) died from Spanish Influenza.
