Oil and Gas ( O&G) has been growing from strength to strength despite the Deepwater Horizon oil spill at  Gulf of Mexico, major players such as Conoco Philips, Exon Mobil, BP, Shell are increasing their Exploration &Production(E&P) capital expenditure(CAPEX) so much so for Malaysian oil giant company , Petronas with CAPEX of USD100bil for next 5 years.

BP has been exploring and experimenting alternative energy source such as renewable energy from non-edible plant Jatropha. Honeywell and Rolls Royce also actively embarking on biofuel R&D and commercialisation of aviation biofuel from Jatropha/ Camelina plant.
