Blue Whale fact sheet :
- The largest creature on earth ; weighs 200 tons and 108 feet length and has a heart the size of a Mini Cooper car.
- Life span up to 80 - 90 years.
- Canivores and feed on krill- 40 million per day ( small crustaceans ) equivalent to 64,000 hamburgers a day.
- Swim up to the speed of 50 km per hour ( fastest swimmer is Sei Whale found in Norwegian waters )
- Lung capacity of 5,000 litres
- Water spray from its blow-hole up to 100 metres.
